Return case and Listing visibility
 

I am top rate seller with 0% Defect sale was OK but recently I had this return cases on several item (shipping delay due to Covid-19) and buyer didn't want the item anymore it passes his wife birthday.

Since the return started for couple of days I haven't had any sales
and now waiting for the item to be delivered so I can refund and close case.

So anybody knows I was thinking if on going return case has effect with Listing Visibility or something?

My defect is still 0%

As long as you close the case by refunding it wont count to your defect rate.

I'd also put a note about shipping delays in your auctions from now on.

Didn't eBay have a forgiveness plan for covid19 delays?

The case hasn't been close yet buyer hasn't made the return so my defect rate is still 0% but since I had this several return cases going on my sales decline I sell nothing at all for the past weeks.

So I'm not sure if its the return cases going on or the market is just bad.

You need at least 10 cases for your defect rate to count. And it only matters if it's an INAD.
As far as if it would affect visibility. Maybe a little? No one really knows. But I HIGHLY doubt it would completely slow it down.

I have a 10% return rate, and a 2% defect rate. My sales haven't budged.
