How to see PayPal of a seller in ebay
Hello Folks!
My question is to eBay and PayPal professional experts.
The question is, how can I see the PayPal account of an eBay seller. Lets assume I have purchased an item from them...
I looked everywhere in PayPal, eBay, email etc but was not able to find it.
I am pretty sure that this is possible, because I had some buyers who found my PayPal by their own. Let me also note that I have no information about my email in my eBay business profile. So,this is not the case.
Any opinion is appreciated. |

It's not as easy as you people are trying to make it out to be. Sometimes I've found it, other times I haven't. I still can't figure out how or why. |

I've found eBay is really getting strict with this privacy thing. If I make a purchase outside eBay from a company or person, their details are right at the top of the PayPal receipt, but if the purchase is on eBay especially from a business, I've had no luck seeing their email anywhere on PayPal. |

I just checked,there is no email address of seller if it is an Ebay transaction,if you really want to get his Paypal email address,you can look up the return address of the package and try to call him. |

| too many buyers and sellers try to deal outside Ebay and save some money,do you blame them?

Ebay is completely doing away with the sharing of email addresses. If it hasn't started already, it will soon start to show up as 12873h3j38973 at members dot ebay dot com inside the order details. |

| start a reply to the paypal transaction email. That's where the email address should be. The email will go to the buyers paypal address.
On ebay, you can see the email in the order page. at least for the first 14 days. |

When replying to Paypal transaction email it shows :
To: service@intl.paypal.com
No sellers paypal information in eBay order page.
Can you please be more specific? |

| Actually, in most cases sellers' ebay email is not the same as their paypal email, so that even if we know their ebay email we still cant know their paypal. |

Here's what I see when I reply to the Paypal receipt:

I think they are pulling email addresses from these receipts. They may be rolling it out in phases but I think this will affect everyone eventually. |

It's in the Fall seller update... doubt it's for only MP.
From the update page... "We're updating how we display email addresses
As part of our ongoing effort to combat spam and phishing attacks and protect the privacy of eBay buyers and sellers, we’re no longer showing buyer email addresses in your orders. Instead, you’ll see an alias email address. Now you can contact buyers using their alias email addresses and your “from” email address will also be hidden by an alias email address.

The change will not affect your business or eBay experience in any other way, and you don’t have to take any action. Unique alias email addresses will be used for each buyer transaction. Now I will explain you why I needed to know how eBay buyers may find email address of their eBay sellers...
I was scammed...
I have removed my email from my PayPal account, but did not remove it from my eBay listing. All the money from sales were incoming to the email and was staying there as unclaimed.
Someone named Jay Kennedy somehow found my email with unclaimed money inside and linked it to their PayPal account. Later he was able to claim and receive unclaimed EUR600 from that email to their PayPAl account. I do not know how he was able to confirm that email for their PAyPal account. Apparently he hacked my email as well.
This is why we need to know how these scammers may see our PayPAl emails on our eBay listings. |

If you refund the buyer 1c you can see their email from a sale from ebay to paypal.

when I want to do business outside ebay I sent a message to buyer but the main words like "business" "call me" etc come upside down. ebay cannot detect upside down. I have been able to get buyers send me texts because I ask them in upside down words. then, I can see their email when we do business. |

They confirmed my email without entering to it. My email always sends me notification if someone logs in from a different device. This time it did not send any notification. They first found my email and linked it, and after several days claimed all the money.
I want to know where they find paypal address of an ebay seller. |
