Address methods for stealth
 

1) I was wondering if you can get away with using an local store(restaurant, convenient store,mall,etc) knowing it most likely doesn't already have a registered account for eb/pp address?

2) Using brand new homes built knowing they have no history associated with anybody for the time being until it gets sold or the real homeowner decides to open up account or using already listed houses in the market with the same location of your ebay/paypal account.

I already know opening po is the best but I just want to know if people had success with this.

Any forum members who did this and thoughts on this approach, how long do your accounts tend to last?

1. Yes with a bit of creativity on the address to be safe - I have done this
2. Also possible but be careful with returns - I haven't tried this

I don't bother too much with addresses. PayPal / eBay don't ban based on addresses unless they can associate the new account with a suspended user.

As rsot above says, what's important is how you handle returns.

if you are friendly with your local liquor store,drycleaner,carryout joint,health club,you can ask them if they can hold your mail.

Hmm kind of out there as an idea - for sure, it can be done but it's risky letting other non-mail-service ppl control your mail...regardless of being "friendly" or paying a bit

if you patronize a local business and know the owner ,you can tell them in advance a package in your name is coming and please hold for you,you cant do this regularly but they will do this as a favor.
