Hi all, sorry if this has already been answered, but I purchased an eBay account from pr0wake a while back and when I tried to setup the account, the login info he provided isn't working. It shows his account is banned, so I get the suspicion that I'm not the only one this has happened too...

Just now trying to log into an account after several years? I would be amazed if it did work without may hoops to jump through.

Wow ages ago - haven't touched the account since then? Probably not worth wasting effort or time on it

eBay does not keep accounts devoid of activity indefinitely. They automatically delete accounts which have been inactive for a long time.
OP's account could have been OK until deleted for inactivity.
Had Op caught the e-mail notification on time, he could have logged in and changed the account status back to active.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, it's been a while. I purchased the account back in 2015 and yes, sadly, just finally now made the effort to get everything setup for it. My fault for waiting so long, but thanks for all the info!
