Unable to set Paypal as automatic payment method for Seller

I am trying to make a new account. I am getting this error
Unable to set Paypal as automatic payment method for Seller, and something like RETURN TO MERCHANT message.
What to do?
I have a verified paypal with credit card confirmed.

You can try to add it again a few days later - in many cases that would work.

I have only tried Netherlands and UK accounts.
And this is for the UK accounts.
I have made some account in the past month without any issues with linking my paypal accounts. I just got this issue lately. :(

I haven't linked my bank account yet as i believe there's no need to.
I always thought not linking it right away for newer paypal accounts, as the account might be prone to suspensions (i do not want to burn my banks yet, as i can only get limited bank accounts here).
And i do no think that the bank account is needed as most of the account sellers here noted that the accounts they sell do not have a bank account attached. so idk

Also, to add; I am linking the paypal account right away. I will try what slokor suggested to wait some days before linking my paypal. I haven't created stealth accounts for months, so this might be a new update?

It's giving me a lot of stress now. I only slept for 4 hours trying to figure this out.
Read a lot of articles from both ebay and paypal community forums, but seem cannot find a definite fix/solution.

Anyone please?

Here's what i have discovered testing a lot of ways.
1. When I add a VCC to eBay for the automatic payment method, the listing is not getting indexed. And once I tried to list an item with BIN, fixed price, the account gets suspended.
2. When i successfully use PayPal as my automatic payment method, the listing get indexed within 24 hours. NO further suspensions noticed across all the accounts i've made during the week. It means they are really good accounts, getting sales, etc.

But the problem is, I cannot add the PayPal as automatic payment method anymore. It's always getting me an error when linking. So stressful as I need a lot of accounts for the fourth Quarter!

My stocks for the Halloween are coming the 1st week of October. And it's driving me crazy.

Does it work all the time? Or is it still a hit or miss?
I don't mind linking my old paypal accounts, as i'm just burning them the i hit the EU limits. But it is indeed a hassle as you will need a lot of aged PPs for that method.

Same problem I am having since the last week on 9/10 of UK accounts I am making

What I am having to do is to link some old unused paypals I have to the new ebays and its working like that
When I say old, I mean only around 1 month old paypals

Its big big hassle

If anyone knows what is going please let us all know as its messing up our business

Right, i'm waiting for atleast a week, and then linking my paypal accounts for the automatic payment method. It works and getting my listings indexed within 24-48 hours.
No suspension anymore!

I've mentioned in my topic that this doesn't work. Or if you can share the BIN that you used, i would highly appreciate that.
Anyways, i've fixed this issue already, and have no problem anymore. My items are getting active and indexed after 24 hours
I only use PayPal as automatic payment method by the way. Everything is working fine now
