S.Corp needs SSN - Please help
 

Hello everyone .

My personal ebay account got banned in 2017 , so i did not use ebay for 2 years , and in 2019 i opened S. Corporation under my name . So i got opened account under business name and also bank account with business name . However, it was ok until yesterday which Ebay MP asked me to register . I add my EIN in first page and in 2nd page asked my personal info . I add my real name but instead of SSN , my accounting manager advised me to add the same EIN instead of SSN, so i did . Long story short . i got email last night that some info is not correct .
My question is , if i add my SSN , does ebay will close my business account ? They have my SSN previously ( i believe they have )
Anyone has any experience about this ?

remember... any information you previously used for any accounts... MUST NOT be used again in your new accounts... that goes for any info, and your ip address.

everything has to be completely NOT linked to the old accounts

They shouldn't have your SSN as Ebay never required it from sellers to register.

I dont recall Ebay ever asking for SSN as it has always been Paypal/Bill point do ing the payment processing,Ebay has no need for our SSN.
As S corporation,MP wants your SSN,you may as well give it to them.
