Manage payment. Is eBay name change needed??
 

Hi. Just wanted to find out something I'm unsure of: should I change the name on my eBay to match the name of my bank ?my only concern is that this might flag as I'll be changing the name on eBay??(any problems there) but also on MP when you go to refund a payment the money will come from your bank. or if a case is opened the money will come from your bank I'm guessing revealing a mismatch name?? so should I change the eBay name to the same as the bank? Help is always appreciated. Thanks

Many banks will accept deposits under stealth names (which bank are you using btw?) so you keep your stealth name on eb

It's not the bank that's concerns me. Its refunding a buyer on eBay using managed payments. As the refund would come from your bank. And potentially show eBay/managed payments your name. Causing a problem when they do not match????.

My biggest concern is that they are asking you provide a social for your accounts. How do we bypass this requirement on a stealth account?

Yes even is a personal account they’re asking for your social security number, any idea how to pass it?

Put in your real name and real social if they ask for it.
I have 4 accounts all with my real info for MP. Other 15 accounts are stealth until they make me change to MP.

Why would refund come from your bank? As don't they hold funds for a number of days similar to amazon ie release every 2 weeks so they would take from their rolling money held first before bank.
The refund isn't what's causing the accounts changing over to Mp dropping like flies.

That is a potential problem if there are multiple refunds - the true name on the bank account is shown when funds are sent from the bank
