Has anyone had any dealings with this company?

I had a threatening email today from "someone" (not affiliated with them) saying my listings have been reported to them and I should remove all the listings.


Sounds like a disgruntled buyer using a real form to intimidate. Anyone have any comments? Or how I can check the email senders credentials via I.P address/lookup etc?

Thats what Im thinking yes, as they've seen my website and ebay shop. This also comes after an ebay users sends me a message about selling bootlegs just days before so I think its just someone making trouble. They dont even ask IF I have permission to sell them, just they've reported them and to remove everything before criminal charges are placed and that takedownpiracys lawyers will be in touch. Ive had official companies approach me to takedown material on both platforms via legit email addresses, which Ive complied with.

The one company contacted me via ebay messaging and it really was them (its a smallish company) and their info did check out but this person's doing it on behalf OF someone which is why its dubious. Is there anyway to get more info about the person via their name or IP address? Ive tried Googling etc but not much luck really. Thanks for your response.

If there is not much info found via google, this also helps point out to the "potential ⊗⊗⊗⊗ credentials" as well

Any further sales are likely to strengthen their case.

All is informed in good cause. Nate Glass' lawyers will be in touch in due course.

The website is very shady and the way they approached tells me it is just an individual or a group of sellers trying to push competition out.

don't worry about it. i have seen sellers getting away with selling these kind of stuff which cannot be hardly taken down. for example, i know many sellers selling straighttalk wireless refill cards and supposedly only walmart is authorized selling refills. there's nothing they can do. many attorneys, and law firms do not bother with the big giant. just put the guy in your block listed inside ebay and put a check mark that says to not let them send you messages either. simple is that.

ah i had something like that many times. Just ignore it.
But they will start flagging your listing multiple times, so it prob gets removed if its something shady.
Otherwise, ignore it.

Yeah,i lost my old account because of this.This is the worst thing that they can do that
