eBay agent asked me to link my Paypal account ?

I contacted eBay to raise my selling limits and they asked me to link a verified paypal account as part of the verification. Should i do it ? Paypal is brand new

Linking your PayPal gives credence to your eBay account especially if your Paypal account is verified.

should i link it then ? I am scared that i will get suspended again for another dumb eBay reason and then i'd have to make another Paypal but as you say linking paypal gives them credence. Also.. i do not use my VPN when logging my Paypal account but i have never been banned from paypal.. can ebay see my IP through paypal?
