Safe to request higher selling limits?
 

I created my ebay stealth account on sept 25, I am one item away from reaching my selling limit. My current selling limits for my Canadian account is 10/1,000.

When I try pressing the request higher selling limits is says "We're unable to increase your selling limits right now, we'll review your account periodically and may automatic grant a limits increase based on your selling performance, etc. "

Do you think it's safe to contact ebay through live chat and increase the selling limits? Di you think I might flag the account if I do this? I do have one digital item up for sale but I also other household items for my listings. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Let the account grow naturally and create backup accounts and grow those

I wouldn't. I always let them increase my limit naturally since I always hit the monthly selling limit within 2 weeks.

Somehow I went on my account today and my monthly limits got increased from 10/1000 to 100 items or Cad $6,569.50.

Just confused because yesterday it was saying. "We're unable to increase your selling limits right now, we'll review your account periodically and may automatic grant a limits increase based on your selling performance, etc. "

Do you know how I got it increased, just curious? I never contacted ebay or requested higher selling limits because I got the message that I stated above when I tried doing so. There are no items sold yet on the account, do you think it could be because I was one item away from hitting my limit that ebay automatically increased my limits?
