Top Rated Seller as digital product seller
 

Hi guys, i've been selling Online video game items on ebay for about 3 month, i'm selling a lot and everything is going fine. Also i've met all the requirement to be a Top Rated Seller on ebay besides one metric. "Tracking Uploaded on time and validated", since my shipping is made online. There's no tracking or shipping.

I've been in contact with ebay's support some guys say that i could appeal for that other guys says something completely different. So i'm here to get some help from you guys. But in the end they couldn't help me at all.

How can i get good on this metric "Tracking Uploaded on Time" since there's no shipping. Also there're a lot a seller that sells the same product as me and they have got their Top Rated Seller status. So there's something that i'm missing which i don't know.

First of all, Digital items are always a high risk.

Well, you can mail the digital code with tracking to your clients .

If I were you I would keep quiet and just keep on doing what you are doing

I saw many sellers who used to sell digital items and they were TRS. As Saijin said "you can mail the digital code with tracking to your clients", but i would do as bigblackdog said:

I agree, but it's about competition which there're a lot on ebay. It would be a differential advantage over competition, also better rank ups on my listing.

if you always marked shipped,then it is because since there is no tracking,Ebay does not know how fast you ship and when it is delivered.
I would keep quiet ,Ebay does not like digital items

You could try changing your shipping options to local pickup only and see if that affects the metric.

"Ranking" can be a dangerous word. Talking about digital items . Ebay doesn't like them and your competitors could see you as a threat and report your listings. It's your choice.

"penny wise and a pound foolish". Your competitors will most likely go down eventually, keep eBay's attention off of you and focus on maintaining.

Thank you guys for the tips. But i don't think you guys know. But it's 100% legal to sell what i sell on ebay, it's Online gaming virtual items, I've checked ebay's policy beforehand. I don't need to be "an approved seller" or anything. U'guys can check on "Electronically delivered items policy" page for more infomation. That's why i talked about competition and being TRS is so important.

That's totally make sense. I did get some false reports. But ebay's support fixed for me in non time, i don't think ebay dislike me that much. Lol. But thank you for the tip.

use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ track. if u need help with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking i can help
