13 year old buyer account, convert to seller?
 

I have an old account from 2007 that has lots of feedback, its a stealth from back in the day, but never used for selling.

Im looking at getting a seller account on this, any thoughts on getting the BAN hammer with the 1st listing or what to do with it?

Treat it like a "new" account if it has not been used for selling - ease it into existence - no high risk first sales

Selling activity is very different from buying activity.
That being said the fact its that old should make things a tad easier if you go about it properly.
One thing nobody seems to mention is the fact that even if you get banned you can easily get the acct reinstated by contacting eBay's customer support. I guess the noobs losing accts don't even bother trying.

The account is solid, much better than pretty new account.

It is quite safe to list some auctions from start.

Very true.

OP has never used it for selling so it has no selling history from that era

You have a nice old account here. But if this is also the more reason you should treat it like a new account to be extra careful.
