eBay account has been blocked looking for a bit of advice
 

Hi my eBay account has been blocked the reason given!

your item didn't follow Prohibited / prescription policy.

the items sold are fitness supplement brand, the particular product was out testosterone booster.

In my last message with eBay chat they confirmed, it's because you registered an item previously removed for having ingredients in that require a prescription in guidance with the MHRA.

I have this in writing from the MHRA Classifier Officer that all ingredients meet the uk guidelines and do not breach any uk legislation.

speaking with eBay it seems like they just read the notes on the system, is there anywhere I can take this further with and the removal of my listing was incorrect on eBay behalf.

If this is a stealth account, perhaps it might not be worth your time to chase it down. Better to just create a new one.

However, if this is a non-stealth account, you can take it to Twitter. Twitter because you may no longer have access to Just let eBay on Twitter know you have been suspended, but you think a policy may have been misinterpreted. Ask for an e-mail or an upload link to supply evidence of your claim or appeal. Be prepared to supply your correspondence with the MHRA officer and make sure it clearly states the ingredient or combination of ingredient are all OTC.

Although not necessary, you may consider authenticating your exchange with MHRA by throwing in an affidavit. It cost very little but goes a long way to help recover a legit account.

You may use this one. Just delete all the unnecessary sections before someone swears it.

I would include a cover letter letting eBay know that although the product does not require a prescription and isn't in violation of policy; I will no longer offer it on eBay as your relationship with eBay tops your priority...



Hopefully, you get your account back and if you do, keep your word - don't sell that product. There are so many other products to sell for massive profits.

Thanks for taking the time to post some advice, yes its a main account / power seller account / top rated seller with countless feedbacks 99.6 percent

I will try these steps and keep this tread updated with an outcome

OEEFFF..... these type of products are dangerous.

You should stop at this point and sell something much safer from now on.

Hey maybe not however I am heavily invested in this brand I have created and have been doing quite well until now!



they follow and meet all UK legislation... whoever pulled the account didn't check the ingredients
