How to update Google Chrome Portable without loosing old cookies and history?

There should be a folder for chrome with all the cookies and history that you can safe to your computer.

I don't use portable myself but there has to be a folder you can find on that.

And I'm sure there are members here who are more experienced in this than me that can pitch in.

I have seen it on Google and tried to do it once. I don’t think it works, because after update eBay asked to accept cookies and account was limited with MC045 afterwards. (MC045-unauthorized use of your account)

MC045 now seems to be big problem with old, sleeping accounts.
No matter how long you browse for cookies, etc.
