Third-Party Checkout Discussions - Your Input Please
 

Hey guys, so I'm in the section of eBay Stealth 3.0 where I'm discussing merchant accounts and third-party checkouts like Auctiva, and Cart Manager.

I've noticed there are quite a few third-party checkouts out there that the forum hasn't talked much about.

For example these carts look promising:

• Vendio (Well there are a few threads on vendio in the forum)
• Zoovy
• DesignCart

There here are a few mentioned by eBay:

• Listing Solutions: ChannelAdvisor Channel Velocity
  Infopia InkFrog Kyozou Mercent Monsoon
  Seller Sourcebook

If anyone has any input on these carts, whether it's good or bad, I welcome it. Or if you know of any carts you want me to discuss in eBay Stealth, let me know.

Come on Nobody, Aspkin is working his ass off and you will know when it's out. This thread clearly says he is looking for things to add to the book, which means he is working on it.

It seems to be able to integrate to eBay like Cart Manager, it uses a token?

If that's the case, it would be great.

Not yet, but it's getting very close.

So far in new eBay Stealth, I cover Auctiva and Cart Manager pretty well. I don't mind covering another third-party checkout if there are some good ones out there. Or maybe I'll just focus on those two.. I know Cart Manager is a pain for a lot of people, maybe I can go into more detail with in, and then just point out other worthy options. Either way.. will get on it in the morning.

Maybe you should try the one herewegoagain told us. It's free unlike cartmanager.

So this links to eBay?

I tried mercantec and it seems that it does not automatically email the buyers. You have to do it manually.

Here are a few more I'm working though:

·Zoovy (Links to eBay – integrated with most payment processors)
·Vendio (Links with eBay and other online marketplaces, buyer appreciate is a nice feature, good for letting customers know your preferred payment method)
·Mercantec (Integrates with eBay)
·Channel Advisor (No free trial to work with. Cost - $500 + 1% of selling price)
·Make-a-Store (Integrates with eBay/ checkout buttons / auction management / looks good)
·Kyozou (integrates with eBay/ auction management / checkout, Not friendly at all)
·Infopia (Another integrator with eBay / manage auctions / etc)
·Design Cart (integrates with eBay)
·CoreCommerce (Integrates with eBay / auction management)
·inkFrog (another lister, Very user friendly /works with multiple eBay accounts)
·AuctionSound (looks like just an auction lister)

Any input on these are welcomed.

Lol, trying to make your life easier aspkin.

Always.. it's not a huge deal, and I probably won't get into each cart, but I'll lay it out for you guys to decide. The carts listed above all connect to eBay, some are like Cart manager where you checkout as well, others are just auction managers. :)

Each have their own place with a seller.

Kinda off topic but I hope the new Stealth Guide covers more on credit cards, especially for Canadian users. The only ones I really had success with over here are the Vanilla cards. If they suddenly go down then I don't know what else to use. Looking forward to version 3.0!

CitizensBank Visa was another working option I saw.. I'll look for more for you.

inkfrog may be problematic for stealth accounts.

Seems there is a possibility of 'linking' if an error gets made if revising a listing.

just excited about reading the new stealth guide.

A bunch of these appear to just be listing managers or else don't integrate into eBay. Many also hide their costs, which they do if they intend to gouge people.

Can any of them integrate things like CCNow or a third party payment processor that eBay normally doesn't allow into eBay checkout?

To my knowlage, seller sourcebook is listing only, no cart for checkout :(
atleast when i used it last, that was about 6 monthes ago

ok let me ask this... i was reading thru ebays requirements on fixed items... i saw if you have a feedback of +30 than your not required to use paypal. I was thinking on using a shopping cart/merchant account w/o using paypal...

What do you guys think?

regarding channel advisor, can i know how we get our money transferred to us? after thecustomer paid?
