Chinese sellers,

How are these Chinese sellers doing it, I've seen small Chinese sellers just start of and there selling big numbers, does eBay favour Chinese sellers ?

Its like they get a pass on everything,

One thing I've noticed is all these Chinese sellers are VAT registered ? even if its a small account that's registered today there all VAT registered

Re: Chinese sellers,

For sure, the amount of money they make ebay in fees ... the shareholders are rubbing their hands with glee.

All about to change soon though. But I know chinese sellers will find a way round it, they always do.

And to be honest I need them ... for my business to run !

Re: Chinese sellers,

Even Chinese sellers who live in USA/UK have a great adavantages importing items from China:Native language, they can move like a fish in the water on China market places and they can import very easily their items. EB get huge profits from them.

Re: Chinese sellers,

The only way to force a VAT collection is to force eBay and Amazon to cut that 19% directly off the price and redirect it to the government, anything else won't work.

Re: Chinese sellers,

Yeah, china has long pass the slow packet stuff. Now, they have their own American warehouses. Of course, none are drop shipping vero, its just generics. But, still it's the way their market has changed.

Re: Chinese sellers,

The accounts you talking about is Chinese business account..quite different to major countries this shxt is very hard to reg,you need to pre-approve a lot of docs(real one no fxke) include company registration, they even need to verify you had real employees not just a single trader etc..base on what I heard it only has a 20% successful rate to get these.Even you provide legit docs.so don't just see the thing from the surface.ebay still constrain very hard nowdays for chinese local sellers

Re: Chinese sellers,

Ebay is preferring these big sellers over us who sell little. They prefer to eliminate us and not them, it's just money, with them they earn more:rant::rant::rant:

Re: Chinese sellers,

In this world, except China, people from other countries can use their personal identities to register as sellers, but China cannot.
Chinese people who want to register as eBay sellers must use company registration, and there are very many categories of restrictions. They need the approval and review of an account manager in Hong Kong before they can be used.
Therefore, we generally believe that eBay does not like Chinese sellers

all this does not matter much in case of china as there is an unlimited quantity of people who could be used to register , the same applies to company registrations , business locations etc.

Re: Chinese sellers,

It would cut down on Chinese sellers opening too many accounts.
Many young Chinese cannot find job right out of school, they hide in library all day,so listing and selling on Ebay would kill some time

Re: Chinese sellers,

When we sell products from China directly, those of us who are not Chinese have many limitations, even if you speak English, in China they will prioritize those who speak their language and the negotiation will always be better.
Do it for a test, find a Chinese friend and call a Chinese supplier and then do it yourself in English,
You will see that the Chinese one has a better price than the one they gave you
