Buying a established account ?

Hi,

Anyone thought about buying a already established account now since the MP kicked in wont it be easier ?

Just buy a already established account and add your bank details or just slowly add your own details on the account?

Thanks

They do a deep credit agency check to get you into MP. So a name and bank change may trigger a ban. Still early days. We will have a definite answer Q4 next year I would have thought.

But how are people passing the credit checks on mismatched names ?

Thanks

I don't know who has in the UK ...

A few have in the US I believe. But then checks will be different in each country.

No one is passing identity check on mismatched names (stealth accounts) eBay did and still do those checks, but they did not refuse membership if you failed the check. Doing so would have been ill-advised as many folks are not on the electoral register. Furthermore, members may sign up as buyers whom eBay do not see as significant risks.

Sellers pose the biggest risks to eBay. Perhaps times are changing - and eBay (now carrying PayPal's risk) may wish to know where you lay.

I passed the checks on my stealth account with my legit bank?
I ran it for 6 7 months but recently got banned via a mc011 now im.not sure if the ban was related to the MP but I've had no issues transfering money into my account?

Tho my stealth surname and my legit surname were the same ?

Please unless you really know what your talking about try to not spread misinformation

They have always done credit checks. That as I have said countless times is not why accounts are failing on MP.

No worries.

Guys send in your "docs" to get verified and all the best. Hopefully you don't lose your accounts you worked so hard establishing over the past year(s).

I don't think credit reference agency will return information that does not exist; hence you could not have passed a credit / Identity check.

In my opinion, eBay has been lenient with these identity checks. That may be one of the many reasons why we get away with stealth accounts. As I implied in a previous post, acceptance unto their platform does not translate to passing credit/identity checks.

For example, If you fail a credit check when you apply online, mobile networks may let you join their network if you go in-store with a passport, utility bill and payslip.
