Did I just screw up?
 

I am using a stealth account to sell on for myself but my wife has her real account.

We use her phone to check, search, list etc on her real account.

We have never linked the accounts, IP, address in a different city, etc. No issues ever.

They recently switched her to managed payments.

Last night I was tired and picked up a phone, wanted to check her sales and by accident signed into her ebay account on my phone. I never sign into my ebay account on my phone ever. So now are my and her account forever linked> Even though I never have signed into my stealth on my phone?

Hope this makes sense. I am now worried my phone and number are now tied to her real ebay account because of my mistake.

Do they track phones, is there such a thing of IPs on the phone. Sorry, not a techie person.

You'll be fine. One off instances are OK. I've done it many times by accident.

Hello, if it happens once, it's ok. Paypal may of been a bit different, how ebay security changes with MP in the future could be problematic. But, we've all made mistakes, :) Usually we are good if we don't keep making them.

Should I get a new sim card or re set the phone or something?

Next question if you do not mind. Can we effectively list on two different phones in the same house? One real and one stealth? Sorry, not techie at all.

It doesn't hurt to reset the phone and get rid of the cookies.

You can use 2 phones , computers , devices etc but you'll have to be disciplined on the IP, devices, etc
