Is eBay dying out?
 

Thats right, is eBay dying out? Is it not as popular as it used to be or is it still in its growth stage? If eBay dies, is it better to sell on Amazon or anywhere else? All I hear are grievances from anyone who utters the name eBay, which is what brought about this question.

No, just some people who failed to adapt make the loudest noise while the ones who succeed are the quiet ones.

They've made tons of changes. Auctions are dying for eBay. But eBay's stock price seems to indicate that eBay is still alive and well.

I actually admire your words.

This is completely true, you will see people crying about eBay, and the ones crying are trying to find solution.
There are much more "silent killers" out there, working and not minding business about false information that could be find among posts.

Ebay is far from dead. It's only going to get better in my opinion once they weed out the scammers that ruin the marketplace.

ebay is going up with no doubt. Dont procrastinate if this is the case.

Now, I can list with BIN but still doing 7 days auction just for the sake of joy. Auctions are going well for me to the extent I dont find a need for BIN as its just 1 month old stealth.

with so many retailers filing for bankrutcies,so many people lining up at food banks,where do you think they are raising money?
Ebay has full time sellers and parttime weekend warriors,butit is getting harder to find good things to sell and many are buying from you to resell,so prices are depressed,but Ebay is getting its 10-12 % FVF .

pretty grim out there,but Ebay will be around for a long long time

we have a shop which offers shipping supplies,mail box rentals and shipping service via USPS and private carriers and they offer copies and fax and PC by the minute.
Prior to COV19,they are losing money,but NOW
They are always busy,you should see the packages dropped off by folks in the neighborhood for USPS pickup,that box is always filled it is 3 feet tall and 4 ft long and wide ,at the end of the day it is always filled and spilled over and they are all from Ebay and AMZN sellers,never know there are so many sellers in our neighborhood.
I wonder if USPS has to compensate them for allowing us to dropoff?
