VeRO Software Licensing Policy

My ebay post got removed for the VeRO Software Licensing Policy, saying that I was selling software, keys, accounts, or virtual items on their game.

I was not selling virtual items , but something in a similar field of virtual services. I was not directly giving them the item just helping, if that clarifies it briefly enough to stay anon.

Has anyone else dealt with VeRO? Should I email them and get them to relist my item? Or just wait a while and relist it again? Should I argue that it is a service, not directly selling an item or software? cheers :coffee:

You will not win this one.

the Right Holder / VeRO account will not back down. If you relist later and they catch you again you will lose your account.

Selling digital goods is also against ebay policy too, the only way to play this game is on burner accounts.

Very difficult for many people to offer more insight without knowing more details OP.

Not that you need to sure though - up to you.

I would not relist it again without clarifying the issue or revamping the listing

This is correct. Your only solution is to burn and churn accounts to sell popular digital items. Hopefully, you can sell enough to make it worth it for you to do the burning and churning.

What other info would be helpful? It is basically a virtual service, Ebay removed it a few years back but I told them it was not a virtual service and made my listing a bit more stealthy, and was good since but not Vero is hassling me.

In hindsight mabe removing the name of the game from the title and making it more stealthy and relisting later is what I am thinking now since everyone here has said emailing vero would be no good :yar:

I think using brand databases like WIPO https://www3.wipo.int/branddb/en/ to avoid listing VeRO items, can it be helpful? for I see many sellers as if they do not use it, what are its limitations?
