Marxist Germany is planning new tax on onine sales!!!

They are now floating the idea of slapping a surcharge on anything bought online in the name of helping physical stores!!!

Eu also applying vat to collect marketplace from 21th July so seems like end game for Chinese

Only some states, and it depends if the entity has business in that state. Commiefornia for example, does charge everyone tax in the state though.

I am talking about something completely different from VAT. The new surcharge is similar to the one proposed by Ocasio-Cortez in NYC.

The German member of parlament who brought up the suggestion is demanding a surcharge of 0.50 - 1.00 Euro on every online-shipment of goods!!

Yes, 3$ surcharge on online deliveries (food and medicines are exempt).

Well on their fees yes but not on total amount, now they been forced to collect VAT 20% on sale price not just on their fees

The idea is being considered in the UK too. Once one does it many others will surely follow.
