drop in sales
 

Is it just me, or has anyone had slow sales today and yesterday? Is this a usual occurrence on 22nd/23rd Dec because of Xmas and postage times?

Yes it's usual, and the day of and day after Christmas sometimes picks up because of people not getting what they wanted.. That being said, this has been my worst year in all of my business. Niche i sell in, people at home don't use it as much :)

Yep, now they are all gathering together and not buying anything. some time next week may get a couple of sales here and there then usually dead till mid January.

my sales have been what I consider some of my best, today and yesterday.

Had few requests of overnight delivery etc - too many demands and questions about how much, why this much etc hah

For me,it is either order over $1k or order under $50,the rich and the not so rich,some are not even gifting as they need the money to buy food and gas.

It's been always like this, between Christmas and Jan 1 the sales volume is really low, from Jan 1 everything will pick up as usual.

My sales droped by 40% around 7 days before xmas. I have set deliverytime to 7 days because royal mail has huge dealays

Christmas week is historically low. Should pick up middle January.

Very normal ... people are busy winding down, enjoying the holiday season it will be like this until mid jan like every year before everything goes back to normal.
