improve seller performance?

wondering if theres an easy way to improve my seller performance
my account has'nt been suspended, but they've restricted my seller performance and dropped my limits massively
is there a quick and easy way around this as i'm struggling to pull it back to above standard
wondering if this is salvageable before going down the route of a stealth account

You can just go dormant and let everything reset, or start meeting ebay standards... which isn't that difficult if you are providing good service.

Was this mainly down to late delivery rate?

Welcome to the forum.

I wouldn't advise you go the stealth route yet. You could kill your already ailing account if you make a mistake.

Perhaps you can try to get eBay to restore some of your limits.
If you shipped out on time but suffered setbacks due to RM delays, let eBay know and show proof if you could - even if it were just PO receipts without tracking. The receipts won't cut it, but throw it in any way.

You could also show eBay how you plan to improve delivery times, e.g., You'd be dropping off at the delivery centre and upgrading to first-class with tracking, and posting out on Saturdays.

In your case, it is a good idea to appeal to eBay only when you have a plan that addresses their concerns.
Arrange all of these in an easy to digest format and hope for the best.

If that fails, you may try improvising your seller performance yourself:

Depending on what your new limits are, you should find and sell one or more items that are safe, yet sell really fast (no less than 100pcs per week) and max your selling limits in a short time. It would be best if you only targeted your 'no of items' limit as that's what will get you back to acceptable standards.

Try doing the following on your eBay account:
Temporarily set your eBay shop to shut at 6: am
Create your listings to dispatch 1 day after purchase
Set shipping to 2nd class.
Set expedited shipping to use 'guaranteed service'. Peg it at £9.99 or thereabout. No one will use it, but it'll help you eventually.

In reality, do the following:
Ship out all sold items daily by the end of the day before your local PO closes, even on Saturdays.
Ship all items by first class. Buy postage on eBay (not signed for) and get it scanned at the post office when you drop off.

You can make the most of this if you add a small loose insert with a hand-written note - thanking your customer for their purchase, announcing the free extras you added to their purchase - and finally, politely asking for 5-star ratings.

Your seller performance should quickly improve. All you'd need to do is sit back and wait for the next evaluation period.

See your PM for a product that fits the criteria above. It doesn't cost much, and delivery from china is within a reasonable time by air.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forum.

Best to work the account, it is easy to get back to where you were.

List product accurately with high quality images

Ship on time, with tracking if possible.

Answer emails on time. Always start with a hello and end with regards and your name, be friendly. Do not be combative with buyer.

Constantly scan your metrics and contact eBay if you have an issue and appeal it.

Do not list VERO products.

Do not drop ship, list product in stock only.,

This will serve you well in keeping your account.
