My mistake in Account Creation?
 

Hey guys.
Created a new Ebay and Paypal Account on 13 of December(New user,new real phone number,mobile hotspot).Aged my Ebay 2 weeks(added to cart some items,browsed sometime).Yesterday Linked my Verified Paypal to My Ebay account and listed my first item(auction type-starting price 7$,a Math Book).
Today morning i got a message my account got a permanent suspension.
What's my mistake?

I took a picture of it with my phone.Cleaned the image and listed the item.Auction type-5 days,starting price 7$.
I don't know what was my mistake there

Well, it was definitely not the mathbook, almost impossible for them to suspend you for that, but did you list it as NEW?

What was the stealth made with ? Which IP ? Did you make up an address and a a stealth name? Was the phone # registered in the same region the account was made in? was the ip geographically close to the phones area code?

IP from my new SIM mobile hotspot
Name and Surname were real.I had ID and etc in case they require to verify my identity.
Phone was from the same region and country.My item location was in the city my IP and every info were.

I wouldn’t use mobile hot spot for creating eBay accounts just my opinion. I would either change my broadband provider or get a dongle that’s what I would personally do.

If it was my mobile hotspot they would've banned me not after listing my item but after creating my account.I used mobile hotspot and i know people who created accs with mobile hotspot.So thats not the problem

Someone has any thoughts? Would like to know maybe your listing details,such as Condition,Shipping or etc which can influence the suspension.I've analyzed my situation and i still have no answer.

Condition of the item or shipping shouldn’t suspend your account.

Is everything matching from eBay to PayPal? Name, address, email, phone number, same ip for PayPal and eBay.

Was the eBay account fully verified before listing the item and was PayPal fully verified before linking to eBay? Have you set your invoices to be paid through PayPal or debit card?

Name,address,email,phone,mobile hotspot the same for Paypal and eBay

Ebay was verified if you mean setting all of my info,payment info and etc.
Paypal was fully verified before linking to eBay,my invoices were set to Paypal payments

For me again it’s the mobile hotspot I just wouldn’t create an eBay account and PayPal account. I would use a laptop new user and broadband connection or dongle but can’t beat a broadband connection most reliable connection out their.

You could try what I said and see if it works instead of using mobile hotspot but it’s up to you and I really hope you can get back on and start selling again.

It's not just new, i have seen ebay taking out older accounts this week also. Some not even being used in months. So it's definitely something weird going on this week.

For me the most comfortable way of managing accounts is mobile hotspot.I am 99% confinced it's not the problem because i know and i've talked to some guys which manage their accs only registered with mobile hotspot.I mean to think logically,i created my account on 13.12.2020,my first listing was on 29.12.2020,the suspension message was like after some hours from my listing creation.So it has to do something with my listing,because in the past, i've created accs and they got suspended after 2 or 3 days and i knew it was my IP cause i did some mistakes.But this time i prepared for success,all new and all real.Even stayed in ebay to browse some items,added to cart,waited 2 weeks,linked my paypal and listed an old book.Than i got a message like "Your eBay aacount has been permanently suspended because we noticed activity that we believe is a risk to our community". I've talked to 5 or 6 customer service helpers and they've told me its 100% decision and no talk about my reinstatement.

Have you sent in identity, adress docs to ebay for proof? if not, the it is not verified.

They didn't require my docs or something. My ebay acc was verified like phone and email,connected with a verified paypal.

Might have to wait a week or so - could be an odd period that still needs to be analyzed...or you can experiment and report back depending on results
