Using my mothers account with same address in history although deleted
 

I was a ebay seller for 12 years and my selling abilities were removed forever in the summer of 2015 due to a few feedback ratings that were low.

A few months later in 2015, a close friend of mine allowed me to use her aged account that had a selling history to sell my items. Within a week, her account was flagged and she called to confirm she had no association with my restricted account.

There was no issues in the past 5 years, as I sold over 1k items on her account with no issues. I simultaneously had my personal account for buying with google chrome and her account with Firefox. But because it was using her paypal, she was getting tired of transferring money out to me every month, which I would be too if I was her.

Now, Im considering using my mother's ebay account that was created in 2017 with no selling feedback. I just helped her list an item this week on her phone without any issues.

What else I've done

on my personal ebay account
- Removed all addresses tied to my mothers residential address and her work address
- Added a nearby address for an apt unit I own
- stopped logging in completely into this account as i dont really buy on ebay anymore

my plan going forward with my mothers account
- use my laptop with firefox (all cookies cleared out)
- start listing items slowly, starting with items i never listed before on my friends account

As I am currently staying at her house during the pandemic, the IP address unfortunately will be the same as my personal account that i havnt logged into for 2 months.

Will there be issues? Although my address on my personal account is updated, I assume they are able to link items shipped to my moms house with my name and try to restrict her selling ability? What can i do?

If the ip address on the personal account was suspended then yes IP address will be an issue here.

I would advise getting a new ip address before following your plan.

Sorry i meant physical address, as that would be a bit harder to deal with as i had the same physical address as hers until this year. I assume they will contact her no matter what, and i think the best response in that case would be that I was a college student living at her house that moved away during the pandemic. (we have diffrent last names)
