Can you view/ find the buyer's eMail in Managed Payments?
 

So that's my concern, with PayPal you can view buyer's eMail in the "Notification of instant payment received" eMail, but what about now in Managed Payments if I want to contact the buyer outside eBay?

No direct email address; name, address and phone only.

It does have an email field with an eBay email address as follows: xxxx@members.ebay.com.

And a disclaimer that reads "Your messages will be sent to the email address of the buyer. We scan messages to protect against fraudulent or suspicious activity or violations of eBay’s User Agreement or eBay’s policies."

No you cant.
You usually can get their phone number, if they provided a real one.

And how could we share our eMails via eBay messages?

Is there a trick?

I try typing "johnsmith AT gmail DOT com" but it doesn't work ...

Buyers send me their normally formatted (dumbass@gmail.com) email addresses all the time without a problem.

What do you mean with "normally formatted"?

If I try to send my eMail address in a message through eBay messages (in the platform, not via mail client) I get a red line "the message can not be delivered because it contains contact information" or something similar ...

And if you send it by replying via mail client (Gmail for example), it will be delivered but without the eMail you have typed, the bots usualy erase it ...

That's a good idea!, I hope that's not suspicious and eBay check the attachments ...

Although text embedded in images still work well, I won't be sending a buyer my e-mail address via eBay messaging. I'd rather encourage them to communicate using the platform.

You can play safe by sending a benign message letting your customer know your business details are listed below your listings.

Yes but I use PayPal email addresses to get in touch with buyers and sell outside eBay to avoid fees ...

To save time and avoid risking your account, you could leave a large loose insert in your package. You only need to design it once and print out in multiples.

Some buyers may complain to ebay about this - be careful. Pandora's noose insert is a good idea

What kind of insert is that?, a picture (with my eMail) attached to the eBay message?

I can attach anything via eBay messages but does eBay monitor that?
