Hi everybody,

I have a bit of a problem updating the bank. Currently in my Payment Tab notice this status line: "your payouts are currently on hold because your ebay account is restricted".
My account is selling properly and not suspended or restricted. Is there any way to fix this situation?

Send an email through help and ask what it means, that is the only way to find out.

If your eBay account is working fine, then I am afraid they mean your "Payment account" with Adyen is restricted.


Give eBay a call and keep us updated please.

Got this today but just submitted id and bank statement, assume they haven't checked them yet

Update: Got a new id request, error message says not to resubmit old info again. Perhaps the name does not match exactly, but address should not matter as no one has the exact address on their license?

The drivers license will be rejected if not correct as eBay can check them in 44 out of 50 states as they share their databases to companies who eBay pay.

You are spot on. Checking adyen's verification process, it appears they do match the id up with state data to ensure it is valid....

Listen to these guys, they know what they are talking about. I went from two suspended MP accounts a few weeks ago to a new MP which seems to be solid so far. With some of us relying on egay to support our families in this wonderful economy, aspkin forums gives people hope

Yea, no kidding... I remember losing a Gold powerseller account for no F'ing reason and I was so lost... until I met Aspkin and he gave the stealth guide to me to help me.

My account is I permanently restricted. Any advice on how to add a bank account so I can get paid out after 180 days?
