Ebay stealths
 

Hi Guys,

Newly stealth accounts, Whats the best way to gain visiblity with new business ebay accounts to create sales... as i find due to having no feedback. harder to be seen.


Our prices are very good and beat the competition.

any advice would be great.

Ensure prices are the lowest, pay for placement via sponsored ads if eligible, deliver a good service and get that top rated seller badge.

I'm happy to run at a loss on new accounts, or at the very least have a range of loss leaders, to get the necessary placement visibility then start the tweaking process.

start the listing as a loss leader for 4-5 sales then bump the price up. works a charm for me, i usually get top page listing within 24 hours

Ship fast, be extra courteous to customers, pack really well and ask for feedback.

Well new account's do not have sponsored adds activated straight off the bat so what I usually do is list dirt cheap even if I'm making a loss but obviously don't make much of a loss for example I'm selling microfibre cloths and the current average sale price on eBay is £2.99 I'd start selling at £0.99 as this will attract sales velocity and in return you'll rank higher and if then gradually increase the price and lower the sponsored % as you will. Some may disagree with my process and some may agree, it all depends on your cash flow or if you want to get to the top quicker or if you you have time to just sit back and let your listing rank slowly.

I totally with this. It pulls you into page one quicker. Once there, buyers will go for the cheapest if it delivers fast.

Another thing you can do is run back to back auctions. Auctions are prioritised more than BIN listings. The shorter the duration, the better.

Edit the description in HTML and stick this code right at the top:

<center>Cant't wait? <a href="https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/xxx"><font size="5">Buy It NOW!</font></a></center>

xxx is the item number to your BIN listing.

Also, make sure your item specifics and title is loaded with relevant keywords.

Finally, you could leave a loose insert inside each pack thanking your customers for their purchase and asking them to kindly leave feedback.
