Online Banks for Managed Payments NOT POSSIBLE!?

I have been told by an ebay rep that bank accounts opened online are not allowed in Managed Payments. Is this info accurate?,

Got several bank accounts opened online without going to a physical office !

Anybody succesfuly into M.P with these kind of bank accounts?

we open bank accounts online every day,no problem, but this is USA,YOU NEED to give them a physical US address and SSN
DO YOU MEAN A bank which has no physical presence but exists only in the cloud?

I mean big spanish banks that allow to open online accounts (Those ones with 0 comissions if you do open it online and you do every transaction online and do not go to their offices ...)

When you say a physical US adress, do you mean the adress of the bank or "my adress"?, because it's very easy to change "my adress" in the cell phone app ...

I don't know about that, but it does not sound right.
My guess is the rep misunderstood a script he read.

In USA,banks would need your SSN and your US address,
Some banks exist only in cyberspace, they have no physical branches .
Not familiar with Spanish banks

Yes, in order to open those online accounts here in Spain I had to upload my photo ID with a "SSN" and give my address so they send me a debit card. Is that the address you are referring to?

The only way to find out is to test it out.

But your online bank should work fine.

And how could M.P. know my real address?. The current one on eBay is ⊗⊗⊗⊗. But not the one on the bank online. Anyway we could always change it via bank app (change address option)
Is it a good idea?

no, just change the name. I can't speak on the address though. Dont change your bank data. When ebay told you no about virtual banks, i think they were meaning the revoluts and chimes of the world. But, nonetheless if it's a authentic bank for your country ebay in your country should allow it. Don't expect ebay USA to take a Spanish bank though
