Listing price is higher than edit page price!
 

Hi,

I have listed an item for £50 on ebay UK. I have listed the item location as in Europe. I ship from EU to UK.(I'm not sure if this makes a difference)

Anyway, I list and check my item in the search results. I see that the price says £65!! So I go into edit mode for my listing and it still says £50

Does anyone know why it would show a different selling price to the price I typed in the edit page?

Haven't had this happen - odd indeed. How soon after listing did you check?

Checked 5 minutes after. And again after 2 hours, its the same.

I might change the price see how it moves.

It's a glitch it shows the price in Euros

Guys, did you ever heard something about brexsh'it? :D

From Jan-01 VAT is automatically added (on ebay and amazon) to all products comming from abroad to UK

if any of these conditions is true they will collect VAT
- you originaly registred not in UK
- your itemlocation is not in the UK

To avoid this, indicate UK as item location, even if it is not. Put a handling time of 5 days so expected delivery date goes up to compensate shipping's from abroad. so people will not be angry

It seems EB is collecting vat for items listed in Europe. This is a new policy since july 1.
