Guys i need help.
 

I was selling on ebay college ebooks, and then ebay suspended me for that, then i receive a letter from ceng@ge le@rning for copyright infringement asking $350 to settle, i ignored it so they sent me another one saying after that they will go to court.Should i be worried, i could say somebody hacked into my account or somebody that new me open an account in my name.The ip that account was used is stealth but not the ebay account, i didn't use ssn.Any advice would be greatly appreciated,thanks.

If everything is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information, ditch all of it, is what I say. How are they going to bring someone who doesn't exist to court?

Define 'letter'? Was it email or via post? Basically what the others have said is correct but there is a bit extra I may add for you :ranger:

If it was under your name/address... you should pay to avoid the trouble. If it was not under your name... then don't worry

Someone please explain how you can get in trouble for selling college books online.

^^^There are IP rights to these books. (Intellectual Property). Overall there's a number of college lecturers who have written guide books for certain subjects.
Their knowledge has gone into these. :ranger:

The young whippersnippers come along & decide to make a buck for themselves.
Some of the authors are now getting retribution. In many instances 'sellers' have claimed the work is their own. :boink:

But I thought it was law that once you purchase something you can do whatever the hell you want to do with it? Well except copy it obviously.
