i listed a few listings on ebay, and was wondering if it is ok to list the same exact item 2 or thee times for more exposure?

I've seen an entire page be the same product by the same seller. Its really up to you I think. Being worthwhile may be a different story - may depend on item being sold if its worth the fee's

Definitely- but it doesn't make too much of a difference. If you can have the lowest price, you'll get a good bit of business...definitely not all the business but a lot more than if you just listed the item multiple times

Yeah I do that all the time and never have a problem. Both as Auction Format and Fixed Priced Format.

In order To Get better exposure you have to list in other categories that may pertain to your item and use different titles for each that would not otherwise fit. Let's say you are selling Ipods For Example: Listing # 1 Title " BRAND NEW APPLE IPOD TOUCH 16GB GENERATION 2 JAILBREAK".

Listing # 2 Title " NEW IN BOX SILVER 2nd GEN IPOD 16 GB USB APPLE UNLOCK"

You see both are the same product but buyers who type in keywords will see one or the other listing base on the fact that you got your keywords covered without violating Ebay Keyword Spaming Policy.
