Ethernet & WiFi Connection

Hi,

I am trying to set up my stealth account via screen mirroring so I can go abroad.

I have a MiFi device that I use for my stealth IP address and I have an Ethernet connected to that remote computer so I am able to wake it up on LAN.

I set it up so the WiFi is priority if it is on and the Ethernet is backup.

My question is,
is eB/PP able to see that I am connected to both Ethernet (Banned IP) and my MiFi device?

I have checked my IP Address when connected to the MiFi and it shows the MiFi's IP address when I am connected to it and not my Ethernet one.

Although I am not sure if they are still able to see it on their end.

Absolutely not. eBay can only see any IP address that's set up to use the internet at the time you're accessing eBay.

Do you have a UPS?
Have you set up automatic daily boot-up as a back-up in the BIOS just in case you can't wake it up remotely?

You should double-check everything before you leave town.

That is an overkill. You can use other IPs or any other ISP from other countries, and ebay is allowing you to do that. eBay/Paypal know that people travel. Just make sure you have the original cookies/history with the new device you are accessing the accounts with.

Ahh thats good to know. Thank you for this advice!

Although i have 5 stealths and its hard to get a high speed MiFi plan when traveling. I do plan to stay in an Airbnb or Hotel with internet but that would mean only one IP address to share for 5 accounts.

What is a UPS?

I do have it set at automatic daily boot up and sleep as a safety in case that happens.

A UPS is an Uninterruptible Power Supply. It sits between your mains and computer.

You should turn off sleep and set the screen to go off instead.

The advice above about using IPs from other countries is quite misleading. You could get limited on PayPal or suspended on eBay for "Unauthorized use of your account - action required..."
With 5 accounts, the risk is even greater.
