Phone # on listings

I’ve seen some sellers that have their direct phone number on the listing description and some even have them directly on the main listing photo. Was wondering if this would put your account at risk?

But yes, of course, it can put you at risk.

Don't do it. Someone could easily search for your info in a leaked database and get your password or other info. Better to not do it.

Ooooh yes, it will. Don't do it... those sellers will get nailed soon or later.

I hear what you say but .....

My phone number (a burner phone) is listed in my seller details and has been for 2 years.

I regularly get calls and turn them from Ebay to direct sales using Paypal

Just saying ...

Thats exactly what I used to do. So I’m seeing conflicting answers, does anyone know the right answer. Or is it just up to chance.

Up for chance. If someone reports you, you'll get a warning for circumvention.

I guess BigDog is 2 years lucky
