How much y'all making from eBay per month

Just curious. Don't gotta say what you sell. Just curious to know what numbers people are working with. Especially considering some people have 100+ accounts.

I wonder who will actually answer such a question.
I know I myself would not. That's getting REAL private friend.

I'm currently averaging just over $400/day net profit. Once the post-holiday season ends, it'll go back to around $200/day.

How many accounts? How many listings across all accounts?

How many accounts?

Not 100+ accounts here - dabble with collectibles and light sales of things that come my way. Online isn't my primary source of income these days

Is it tho? Why does it matter if stranger online knows how much some other stranger online makes?

I've already had multiple people and myself disclose how much they've made/make got nothing to worry about too much over here. But to each their own.

Also curious to how many accounts you have set up netting $400 profit a day. And if you don't want to say which items, I'm curious how many items your having to list to gain $400 net profit a day.

Im from UK and my net profit is around £700-£800 a week . Considering I only work around ten hours a week on eBay, this is pretty decent for a side income. I burn and churn one eBay account a week and only make 3 listings, all the same product but worded differently

Re: How much y'all making from eBay per month

Zero - chinese pretending to be uk sellers taking all sales and undercutting by a lot.

last month I made close to £5k profit and more than £10k in sales in 30 days. I’m selling China specials I have 4 different products which when I receive them they sell really well. I work about 1-2 hours a day and still have a full time job working 40hrs a week.

Hmm interesting. So 3 items a week £700-800, did you make yourself a limit to only sell 3 items a week? Or is 3 a week about how many you can sell if it's a good week?

You could try changing the items, undercut them even more, or find a way to grab more audience to your items?

China specials? Not too sure what that is but nice!!! Are you having to create multiple accounts for all the products, or are you doing good with just one account with the 4 different products?

China specials = replica products of original.

No I use one account which is totally unlimited so can list unlimited amount of items.

Oh okay nice. I'm assuming you had to create a stealth account for items? And you haven't had any problems so far?

No it’s all in my real info so in process of changing return address and leaving address moving to different address. I get issues all the time it’s business returns etc.

Had an issue with a parcel being seized as it was too heavy and undervalued. But I’m making a lot of money at the moment so can’t complain just need to tidy a few things up and hopefully all will be good :)

Steady $20,000 on one account. Many advise against this but I've never seen an issue with it. Ebay once was my main income but not anymore...

Wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for this forum though. Thank you ASPKIN!

impossible, i been searching products for months now and did the same thing for months last year aswell, comparing prices from taobao/1688 to ebay UK and all the worthwhile products are already being sold by chinese sellers who have their item location as UK but obviously shipped from china. I honestly don't know how you guys do it, months i been searching but they've basically already done this and gotten the profitable products listed and taken that market. Obviously Ebay UK will do nothing if you inform them that they're breaking T.O.S by using a false item location but ebay uk is owned by chinese and they're told not to touch chinese sellers, such a shame. The problem is, a normal buyer will see item location UK and some chinese sellers even putting ap icture of uk seller in their pictures even though they're clearly not, but by the time the buyer finds out, it's too late they've already paid and it's delivered, while the genuine uk sellers get no sales. An example is a product i found very profitable last year selling for 21 pounds, now that same product is being sold for 9-10 pounds by chinese pretending to be british, you can't compete with their prices and now since they pretend to be in the UK the shipping is false but ebay uk won't do anything about them. Covid 19, ruining ebay UK for british sellers, the list goes on and on, it's no wonder chinese tourists are hated worldwide, their hearts are rotten.
Anyone genuine uk sellers here who are beating chinese have my praise because it has been an impossible task for me.

Been on this forum longer than most (This isn't my original account), and I make $0.00 per month on eBay as of typing this, but still manage to buy what I want/need.

Good numbers, i have similar numbers except I am bringing in around £700-£800 profit a week with 10 hours of work. Good to see you have a full time income as well, il never understand why some people think that just because they made a consistent income from ebay over a couple months, they think its all ok to drop out of their 9-5.

Re: How much y'all making from eBay per month

I add $15-20k to my savings each month. I do a few things off the internet but most income is from e-commerce. I'm in USA selling products sourced from China. Chinese competitors are a non-issue here because while their listing prices are dirt cheap, their items take 30+ days to arrive and Americans don't like to wait that long.

@vm - what worked for me was finding a very specific niche and then embedding myself deep in it, very slowly building my buying power to the point where it is now. Jumping from one trendy phake product to another is not a viable business model, IMO (which is what DHgate flippers generally do). Chinese suppliers will mix in defective units and by the time you sell the lot you're lucky if you break even after returns/refunds. I learned this the hard way a few years ago with "no-no's". They seemed to be very profitable - but they ultimately weren't. While I'd profit $50 per unit sold I would have to issue refunds for 20% of units sold. :juggle:

Seems like your doing really well as well especially for the hours you do. I’m staying at my job because it’s easy and I’m already on the tax system so havnt told HMRC about eBay as already paying tax but once I hit the 85k mark which will probably be around 4 months time I will then have to decide if I want to register vat or use another account I have.

Yes another reason why I still work at my current job is because the products I sell are replicas so anything can happen I’ve got a system to suit the way I sell them and it’s working.

I think no matter what you sell you will always have to issue refunds it’s business and can’t please every customer out their.

I have to say the profit margins on the products I sell are ridiculously good range from £30 to £200 profit per item which is why I sell what I sell.
