Ebay Future?
 

Hey so im new to the forums and have been browsing for a bit
From what i can see from previous threads that this business is slowly declining as far as stealth accounts from a more global standpoint and only a smart handful are able to succeed.

Is that the general consensus? I guess i decided to join at the wrong time

Not really true, Sure USA & UK are already on MP or heading that way this year but there will always be countries that are able to use Paypal so in reality those who want to continue with things will be able to do so.

All countries will eventually be on Managed Payments, no exceptions. It's being rolled out in China from April, the rest will follow.

Not anytime soon, guaranteed there will be multiple countries who still use paypal in 2022, the lesser known countries aren't the priority and ebay don't care about rushing them to MP. Got a good year or two until you are close to running out of options and even then, i know there are ways around MP so you're still good.

People in Ukraine are for the most part on ebay.com so i'd expect them to be on MP but i'm not sure how it works really.

Agreed, I just wanted to clarify that your claim that there will always be countries which will not, in time, be converted to MP was incorrect ... unless you want to share your way around it?

Well there is no "source" to prove that some countries won't be getting MP because no one except the insiders on Ebay know the specifics, we can only guess but i stand by what i wrote in the previous comment, the minority are not anywhere near the top of ebays priority list. My way around MP? I have been told a bypass around it, have yet to test it but won't share anything that is not confirmed.

I dont believe all countries can be mp? Can you provide more details. What info would foreign sellers like Ukraine use to verify, Ukraine identification number can’t be confirmed by PayPal as far as I know

Go on ebay an search Managed Payments. It's nothing more complicated than adding a bank account. It has nothing to do with ID numbers and definitely nothing to do with paypal!

I am in Italy and ebay told me that I need to register to MP before the end of March, so I think all EU will be forced as well.

It is all about how much effort you put in. It is not for thin skinned or lazy folks anymore. That goes for ALL online business IMO.

Makes it harder to have more than one account. In the eCommerce profession, you really need multiple accounts on all platforms if you want to have robust sales and mitigate risk.

If Ebay is using the exact same system as etsy - which has a list of countries that qualify for etsy payments - then surely ebay will have countries that can only use PayPal. So Stealth isn't going anywhere

I have followed multiple guides provided via purchasing accounts. I do a conservative method and have analyzed why they have been suspended. Still cant figure out why. Not lazy.

It doesn't matter what platform, you gotta keep evolving the ones that don't are the ones who complain :"everything is going slow". And they KEEP saying it.

How many years have I heard people say the same thing in the forum? 10 years?

Can't agree, you are just using all real info to pass through this. Don't judge others when they are trying to pass it and failed by the stealth way.

I tried more than 50 accounts in many different way to pass MP, (UK and US both), they are all failed except the one with my own real info.

Stealth info - failed
Stealth + real info - failed
real info + stealth info - failed
real info - succeed

They are both registered with companies and matches with banks.

I figured out this with a big cost as each combination would cost me to register a company and register a new bank.

All failed, except the one with my own info.

So far I haven't seen anyone here actually passed the verification with stealth information - they are all with the real info.

That's the fact.
