eBay going down the crapper and so is the economy in general.
I remember when they ran great coupons all the time.
Now even eBay bucks are gone. Pathetic.
Amazon from now on for me whenever possible. |

top rated seller used to get 20% discount on the FVF ,then it becomes 10% and it is only item FVF ,excludes shipping FVF |

| You know, ebay didn't like that they expired, and I had an agent give me back like $200 that I let expire, because he says ebay doesn't want them to, and now ebay bucks won't expire for a YEAR.
What someone realized, is that 1% doesn't make much difference to anyone, and no one pays attention to it, and the rewards are so low, that people let it expire. 1% was just background noise that we all got used to, so it doesn't actually DO anything to increase sales.
If I were that MBA, my reasoning for doing what they are doing now, would be to make ebay bucks special again, and make people excited when they come, forcing them to buy stuff right away.
I'm not sure where you are seeing the pound foolish in this. From a business standpoint, they did great. |

| They are getting rid of the 1% on all purchases ALL THE TIME. They aren't getting rid of ebay bucks. They will just only send out the 5% or whatever deals, and they are also making them earned bucks last 12 months instead of expiring in a month. |

| I literally just got a 5% ebay bucks offer yesterday... That is how it's going to be done from now on. They will send out ebay bucks offers. Only thing over is the 1% ALL the time, and the 30 days expiration of bucks. |

I do honestly think that one day, sooner rather then later, eBay will see how they self doomed with all of those nonsense and MP system, and some great new points will be earned through buying/selling, maybe even gift cards. |

I dont know any way to earn Ebay bucks but to buy something on Ebay which qualify,?
as to what 1% means,it could mean a lot to those who buys a lot of items on Ebay or buy big ticket items.
Some buyers buy antique watches paying anywhere FROM $1K to $25K.
That 1% comes to $1k if you buy $100,000 worth of watches. |

| I cant believe I am engaging with you but....... It is the promotional offers they send. Seems every month they send a 5% ebay bucks, etc. Sometimes $5.00 or $10 off a certain type and price order.
The 1% was irrelevant. |
