All usa new ebay accounts now on managed payments?
 

I was trying to create a stealth account and it was asking for my bank details. is this for everyone working with usa accounts, also paypal has been removed?

I created one yesterday and was able to without a bank account. I didn't list anything

The way it's going to work is, you can do it after your first "sale"

i had this happen today as well. Not sure if it's on every account, ill need to test later tonight to see for sure.

Do they ask for the SSN at the same time as well?

last 4.. but you can skip it, until you have sold an item.

Had this happen once on an account a few days ago, looks to be just for a minority of accts

All business accounts, ask for this i believe. I mean they always asked for tax info. But, this time they make you put a checking account/savings immediately on a business. So all new business ebay accounts will be managed payments i am betting. On the one i made, i just put in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ #s for the checking/savings until i decide what i want to do with it.

Just created an account this morning and wasn't asked anything. so it seems it's not in full use yet... so make and stock up while you can i guess ?
