Please!! Someone's Help With Where I Start First
 

I seriously do not know where to start with MP change on Ebay.
My 8 yr old stealth account is the only one I have and have ever had.
I can't afford to buy another stealth account right now.
They've been asking me to make the change and I haven't made a move yet.*
I have almost 800 positive feedback.

I only do this in my spare time and I just sell collectibles from estate sales.
I have the stealth name. address and phone number on my Ebay account.**
The only thing I have "real" is my PayPal and how I've gotten paid for the l
ast 5 years. (Explanation below).

(The first 3 years I used my stealth PayPal that has same name as
Ebay then I would just transfer the money to my real PayPal account.**
When PayPal asked for my SSN 5 years ago, of course I couldn't
provide that.*
PayPal eventually stopped letting me transfer funds from stealth
account to real account, and from there I thought my Ebay selling would
be history.**
So I said "Why not, what do I have to lose?"* I started putting my real
PayPal account on all my listings.** I've been doing that for 5 years and
haven't been been flagged).

I only explain that because it may or may not hurt me in doing
this MP change....I don't know.

The Ebay stealth name is under an address in a different state.**
I moved from there 5 years ago and thought about changing just
the address part to match my own.
I just haven't done it due to being afraid of account being flagged.

Where do I start in attempting to move to MP?

Change address first with Ebay? (I'm leaving the stealth name be
and changing it on a write on PDF bank statement).

Will I have to provide a driver's license if I change address?

Or do I just go straight into setting up MP with real bank
(Meta Bank) info?* (Real bank has my real address).

I've read so many posts and gotten a lot of good info so far.
A LOT of them are more complicated than mine and I
can't find the answer to correctly do this for the simplest of
stealth accounts LOL.

I'm so scared to do anything until I know exactly what to do.

Convert your account over to managed payments and JUST change the name to your own, add your birthday and your last 4 of your ssn... and keep going. Bank will match your name, etc... and as long as you keep doing what you doing, it wont matter since you've not been suspended in 8 years.. which btw is impressive. i think i had a few make it like 5-6 before. I actually have one that is about 8 years old now that i think of it, but i gave it to a relative and he's been managing it.

If you don't sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗, and deliver your products to ebay on time and don't drop ship. Ebay won't suspend you.

Yes, I am not a big time seller, just a middle aged woman who loves selling collectibles in spare time for quick extra cash LOL.
Seems it won't be "quick cash" now but would like to not start completely over!

Okay.......just to clarify since I haven't attempted this and not aware of what pages that'll come up.
I went in and clicked the notice to update details.
It brought the next page up with the Name, address and phone number on my account. (Of course not my real ones).
Is this the page I need to change to my own name?
And do I leave that address alone?
Or is that first page just Ebay clarifying something before I move to this Ayden or whatever it is?

The reason I'm worried is because there was a post on 12/10/20 by ngirg001
Saying that when he put in his real name, Ebay restricted account and requested copy of DL and when he sent it in, Ebay sent another email saying
"Name on identity card does not match the previous name on your Ebay account. We will need government ID with matching name or detailed explanation for the name not matching"

Ebay can, and does suspend people for just about anything lol. or nothing. Selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or being late, is not even remotely the only ways to get suspended.
