New eBay account
 

Hi Guys,

Quick question about a new eBay account.

I have created a new eBay and PayPal account, all the information (name, address etc.) is equal to each other and already verified. 3 days old accounts.

Now I have created a new listing 2 days ago. Usually within 24 hours it will appear to buyers on eBay. For some reason 2 days have passed now and it still shows me 1 view. Also I cannot find the listing, even though the status is active.

Is there a reason why this is happening? Anything to do with having a fresh account?

it takes some time for them to make your listings visible.

Thanks, can this take up to a week? Now I have more views, like 15 but still very low for the product that I am selling. Before, with my old account the views was a lot. Even when I've put a new listing. Does it have to something with my new account? It's just 4 days old.

I assume the advert has an indexed -

Then click on your username & the advert should be there.

If is there, what listing spot are you currently getting? eBay can be strange giving some accounts better spots.

I don't think you can do promtional listing yet.

As they have not suspended the account pending further validation then its just a waiting game, usually they say its 24 hours but can take longer. I recommend you list a second item and see it that pushes it off in the search engine.

Increasingly eBay is making it hard for the new big bang seller who lists, sells a lot and then does not ship and vanishes taking the money.

The best placement is by promotional listing and you have to wait for at least 3 months even more if you have low sales.

Be patient gradually list non risky/vero items build up your feedback and it will all come together.
