Limited Paypal - Last ditch effort to save stealth
 

Hi everyone, my stealth paypal recently got limited asking for personal identification details and business registration information. I definitely won't be stupid enough to submit anything. This happened 7 months after I set up the account, and just after I withdrew 600. There was only about 2K in the account as I was slowlyyyy scaling the account. Everything was going great until I withdrew the money. I have gone through the forum on this and know that the general advice is to move on and create another stealth (of course I'm going to do this), but I was wondering if it is worth a last ditch effort to save the stealth account - create a new paypal (same last name different first name) and link this to my ebay account since the ebay account is in good standing with 100% positive feedback.

Took a long time to build this account and it feels like back to square one again. Hopefully someone who has done this would see this post and be kind enough to share their experience. Was it an immediate ban on the Ebay account after switching paypal accounts LOL.

Some people here will tell you to just start using a new Paypal by putting a different Paypal email in the "payments" part when you make listings.

Others will tell you to start fresh because you'll get linked if you try to use a new Paypal.

Take your pick. I'd probably just start using a new Paypal since eBay accounts which accept direct Paypal payments are on the way out anyway.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Logically, I suppose it wouldn't take much for Paypal to put 2 and 2 together and link the accounts but I was wondering if someone had actually tried this and could share if it was an immediate death or a slow prolonged one leaving me wondering when the account would get banned and my money locked for 180 days lol. Could be just wishful thinking on my part. The account is already done for so was just thinking what would happen if I were to switch Paypal accounts.

This is my first stealth account and it was a trial one. While I first made it I didn't expect this account to survive managed payments, just wanted this to be a learning journey. Honestly didn't expect the store to be half as successful as it became so it is a real pity.
