Sneaky way to get different IP addresses
 

I recently found that my new netbook can find about 8 wireless networks in my area of which 3 are insecure and the signals strong enough for the machine to log onto and "piggyback." Of course they all have different IP addresses!

I only found this out because my 2 networked PCs are connected by an ethernet type arrangement to the BT Home Hub but I had the wireless part switched off til I got the netbook.

I also have 2 dongles each for a different provider (T Mobile and Vodaphone) which also give me different IP addresses every time I log on.

I know some of you dont think much of dongles but I get about 3.5 mbps out of this little machine with a dongle which is a hell of a lot better than a dialup. And the network coverage in this area is not the very best.

That is ultra sneaky stuff there ;)

Or you can buy a N3 from Rokland for $39.99 and increase your range 2-3 times on any computer old or new mac or pc.

You have to watch though on using other peoples signals cause if they shut down or turn off or get weak all of a sudden sometimes your computer mac or pc will automatically go to the next strongest signal without notifying you....then:croc: boom you know the rest!

And you never really know if a pirated signal belongs to somebody who has been suspended on the site you are trying to use. You could cut your own throat being sneaky. Not to ignore the potential, but I advise that it be a last resort. If it's your dongle, you know where its been. If it isn't yours, use a prophylactic.
