Ebay mp....does date of birth need to be correct
 

HI...i have 5 year old private account over 1000 sales above standard rating.......now i must sign up managed payments.....all my details are correct and genuine but the date of birth is wrong.....should i leave it as is or if i change to my correct date of birth will that cause any problems......if they ask for any ids they will show genuine date of birth but i worried if i start changing my registered date on ebay may throw up red flags...i dont know how to proceed..,,,i worried my account will be suspended.....thanks for any help..

i think since it is very new thing not all answers may be answered. But i personally would change it to correct one.

I agree with the post above. I think leaving the wrong DOB would be more risky than correcting your DOB.

I am not sure how useful is DOB,it is not like senior citizen gets a discount?
Unless they want to see your passport or driver license ?

ebay are using it for some reason.....thats why im not sure whether to correct it or leave as is.....i have to link a bank account if they ask for id then date will be wrong,,(all other details correct.) but if i change it now may throw up red flag...
