Default Is This Normal For New Account??

I tried re-listing something and ebay hit me with this: You're signing in from a computer we're not familiar with. That's no problem, but we need to take a few moments just to make sure no one is trying to access your account without permission. I can confirm all the info just wondering why its saying this when I haven't even logged into my account with a different computer lol ??

I'm using the same computer, different ip, and different windows user account?

That's because your cookies and flash cookies are missing. Which makes perfect sense, since you are using a new user account.

It shouldn't be a problem. Yes, from now on do not delete cookies, that's why you use separate user accounts, so you don't have to delete cookies. :D

Good Luck with that. I had that same thing a few weeks ago. I verified my identity with live help , kept getting the same message... went through indetity verification again... still didnt work, and I still cant sell on that account. I can buy fine , but everytime I try to sell I get the same message you are talking about

I got the same error when I had a new account with a new Windows user account. When I installed Adobe Flash, the error never happened again.

+++ I also had this happen to me yesterday. This is actually a stealth name that I bought. The eBay account is 11 years old. So I went into eBay live and they asked me DOB, which I had no idea. So I said thank you for your help and left. Still trying to somehow uncover this info, because when the guy made this account he was only 15 or 16, now 26 or 27 years old, so god knows what he put for a DOB

Anyone else recently getting this repetitively despite verying your details and having the lock removed, and listings constantly removed, then re-adding them and getting locked again and again?

AM using separate user accounts and keeping the cookies and browser details untouched.... using dynamic IP
