ebay odd character in the Address Label

Has anyone else noticed for a persons shipping address, but there something like
ebayux837s will be in the middle of the address?

noticing this more and more often.

Is it genuine, or something buyers (buyers/resellers are doing) to monitor to their own customers or some software they are using which is generating it

worried it be competitors or likewise?

Yes its been like this many months now, its special code from ebay which can be tracked the parcel in royal mail system
