NEED to get 36 more transactions in 7 days, HOW?

Basically, my eBay seller performance went down to Below Standard for the month of April because of 1 INR case closed w/out seller resolution. (That I actually appealed &won, the DAY of the performance evaluations, the 20th of each month, but it was too late, they’d already evaluated me). This caused my sales to tank. I’m not on a quarterly evaluation, eBay evaluates me yearly.

Shortly, I went above standard for this month of May, but my seller level forecast says I’ll be below standard for the next month, with cases closed without seller resolution defect rate of .31%. The evaluation for next month is the time period of June 2020-May 31st 2021. I did the math, and I need only 36 more transactions before the 31st of this month to hit .30% and not go below standard. I’m not a high-volume seller, so there’s no way I’ll reach 36 transactions within 7 days.

So my question is, how can I get 36 more transactions before the 31st? What counts as a transaction towards seller performance? Could I make a listing for .99 cents, and make multiple accounts and buy them? I’ve tried that but it only counted for 2 extra transactions, I think this may be because I made the listing with variations &purchased 4 separates of those variations, 1 each day on both accounts, each separate transactions. I was thinking to make 4 separate accounts and buy 5 of my .99c items I listed each day to up 36. But I’ve made a lot
Of separate accounts and they keep getting suspended? I’ve also read on google that if the same “buyer” buys multiple items in 1 day (even if all separate transactions) it counts as 1 transaction, and for another transaction to count they have to buy it the next day. (Pretty much each account can only buy 1x day no matter how much they buy or how many transactions, for it to count as more than 1). Is this true?

BOTTOM LINE: HOW CAN I GET 36 MORE TRANSACTIONS MYSELF WITHIN 7 DAYS?! :( If I go below standard for the next month, I’ll be below standard until September, until 2 of my cases fall off the yearly evaluation.

HELP! :( Ive been so stressed about this...

ask friends and family and others to buy from you ,give away $1 for 50 cents.

Call eBay and get a rep to delete these defects for you.

So you think that could work? They’re pretty old defects also. From my experience, the eBay phone reps are never that helpful, and read from a script. (mostly).

Get the defects removed if you won. They may do it anyways on their own.

If you cannot get those defects removed just sell cheap items at a loss to get the sales fast. You might lose a few dollars in the process but what youre making it sound itll be worth it.

Re: NEED to get 36 more transactions in 7 days, HOW?

Yes I can’t get the defects removed, they’re very old. Which sucks also because 1 of them I could’ve appealed and gotten it removed, but I didn’t know it at the time. If I had just 1 less case, I’d be fine.

I could possibly get 36 more transactions by the 31st, as I get around 4-5 orders per day, but I don’t wanna chance it.

So Should I make multiple listings for .99c and make 4 accounts, and buy 1x day off each account? Would that work?

And have your account zapped.

Not good advise.

Just give the shiit away for cheap. Unless your niche isn't very popular...

It’s pretty good, not SUPER popular but I’d say it brings in a lot of sales. Cosmetics, health & beauty.

From today I only need like 15 more transactions so Im just listing stuff for super cheap.

Get 400 transactions in last 90 days and they won't consider data of past 1 year to evaluate your account. Another advice to keep in mind.

they only count data of 1 year when total transactions are below 400 in last 90 days.

What's eBay's performance evaluation period?
We evaluate your performance every month. The length of time we look at in each evaluation depends on how many recent transactions you've had. If you've had 400 or more transactions in the last three months, you're evaluated over that three-month period. If you've had fewer than 400 transactions in the last three months, you're evaluated on the past 12 months. These timelines help us make sure we're evaluating you as fairly as possible.

Yep, I was on 3 month eval period forever until I went below average for 1 month, sales tanked, since then have been on the yearly eval. I’m 40 transactions short of 400 as of now.

But good news- I’ve reached the 37 transactions since the post of this thread. NOW I’LL BE ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE NEXT EVALUATION!

I made 2 separate accounts, and bought about 10 things from my own seller account which helped a little but considering I had til the 31st, I could’ve done it w/ out that.

Also, I’d like to mention that this seller account has been through some ****. I’m going to be very diligent from now on.

I had a MC099 suspension AND a MC011 temporary restriction on my account AT THE SAME TIME for 2 years. I got the suspension dropped by paying $1k in outstanding eBay fees in the beginning of Jan. 2020. A month later, after running through multiple hoops, I got the MC011 restriction reinstated by providing bank account info & invoices. I’d like to mention tho, the only reason I believe this happened was becuz I was suspended & restricted in 2018, and 2 years later only pursued the restriction, and they weren’t able to see how bad it was in the 1st place when it initially happened- all they knew was that it was restricted for too many INR cases opened. If I had tried to get the restriction lifted right after it had happened- no doubt in my mind I wouldn’t have gotten the account back. Persuading the restriction 2 yrs later is what only saved me, lol.

Hard to say. Just sell as much as you can and do them properly.
