eBay having access to your bank account on Paypal
 

Could eBay have the IBAN of your PayPal account?

Perhaps it depends on which year you linked/ create the eBay and PayPal accounts?

Because I would like to use that bank IBAN of PayPal for a completely different eBay account to register for Managed Payments

I think it would be fine.

eBay and Paypal were the same company for a while but I don't think it's even eBay processing the MP information submitted to them. It's Adyen/Payoneer from what I can tell.

But when registering for Managed Payments you enter the IBAN in an eBay webpage ...

Okay, if you're not willing to accept their sensible logic here's my offering. Yes, ebay will see the bank account as one you've used with paypal in the past.

What now?

You're also on an eBay webpage when you do instant bank verification on US MP accounts, but the actual data is processed by another party and it's let me add 3 bank accounts which are also linked to Paypals corresponding to different eBay accounts.

This is a brand new system and there is not anyone who can give you a definitive answer.

Well, I believe like phaz0rz said that no one here will have a sure answer for you as we are still experiencing the managed payments. I also have many doubts like you, I had some years of doing beautiful 100% legit business and now I am afraid of what's comming.
If I had to guess, I believe you can use that IBAN on another account (specially if you did nothing too wrong on the previous account). However, if that account is really valuable and important to you, maybe you can just open a new bank account and play safe.
