Bidder harrasing..

Is it worth reporting a bidder thats harrasing you ? I listed an item, he wants to come local pickup, but I listed Paypal only. So I said to him no, and he starts calling me a criminal ... So is it worth reporting this to ebay, or not ? I didn't answer his second e-mail, i just dont wanna argue with an idiot, but am considering to report him to ebay

If the auction hasn't finished yet block him so he can't bid (and cancel any bids he has made)....

If it has finished and he is the high bidder then yes report him to ebay as a non paying bidder. Keep the emails incase you need to refute any negative feedback he may leave you. Relist and block him from bidding.

So there he goes and reports my item, or at least says so. What happens next, anyone knows ? I listened to Captainjack and blocked him from bidding, but i suppose that cant stop him from making other account and bidding from it. I spent my time reading his feedback, he doesnt have negative since he is a buyer, but some people actually stated in feedback that he needs to see a shrink...

You may be dealing with eBay psycho...Why don't you write to Ebay before auction ends and report him.... Explain what is going on, and ask for help as you are being harrased.

^^^If this involves the jacket, maybe also think of NOT selling it on ebay. You seem to be having lots of troubles :ranger:

I seem to be a magnet for all kinds of fools... Since ebay introduced this thing that you can't give buyers negative feedback, buyers have gone crazy. They just come with the story "i'll give you negative feedback if you don't do as I tell you" - and to be honest, buyers from Germany have always been the worst at this, and now, they have gone crazy, not a single auction goes buy without some extra demands

Very true zmajns. Every day, eBay gets more and more bad bidders. It's already bad enough that cops won't do a single thing when buyers do credit card fraud nonstop.

The problem is (at least in Europe), when it comes to police, no one wants to deal with ebay, they just dont take it seriously, so if theres a problem with ebay user, its your problem, not theirs
