Item wrongfully removed. Vehicle, parts, and accessories policy
 

I was selling a DIESEL LAPTOP DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER. Its like a code reader you plug into your car. Except that it also has diagrams, fault testing, code reading, diagnostic data ect. It was clearly stated in the listing that it could not defeat, bypass, or render inoperative emissions control devices.

What activity didn't follow the policy

Is it possible to appeal this? What would be the best method to try? Any help greatly appreciated.

this is the 2nd time this month I heard of something like this with eBay motors.

Best thing you can try is contact them and talk to someone, but I wouldn't risk your account over it

This is the correct answer to your problem. Bots remove listings based on words in the description.

Had the same thing with my listings last year. I posted that due to C*V*D-19 items could be delayed and they flagged them for selling insufficient medical items and took my listings down. I was selling classic car stickers ... so yeah - your answer is remove that sentence - bots don't like it.
