I was banned a few years back due to vero, they didn't ban my paypal as it was linked to my website as the main payment method. They didn't ban my ebay account fully, they allowed me to carry on buying but they banned the ability for me to sell.

Have you guys ever heard of this? and if so, ever heard of anyone getting the ability to sell again reinstated?

I guess filling in the details for MP would be a risk on this account as I'll still have the block on this account for selling.

So a fresh eb account may be needed but, that again runs the risks of being detected as a multi and prev banned user.

I have recently tried to contact eb to get the account reinstated but they said it cannot be. My last violation was in 2013 a MC999 x2 listings removed for some branded jeans that was reported as counterfeit, they were actually genuine jeans and I had (not sure if i still have it) an invoice to prove they're real. But at the time it was completely rejected and even now they said it cannot be contested as this type of ban is for life with no way to appeal it. Seems extremely unfair considering half the "violations" weren't justified.

What to do.

Usually providing an invoice in english will get you back or atleast remove the most recent violation.

Unfortunately its been outright refused and my ban is indefinite.

As you may not receive an invite to MP, opening a new account carries a risk of breaching duplicate account policy violation which eBay may reference at any time.

I would close this buyer account, wait for it to be deleted and then spawn a new legit account in the same name - hopefully, you're invited to MP straight away and forgiven in the process. Hopefully.

Generally, 30 to 60 days in OP's case as he isn't a seller.

Yes, that's correct but only if an account is not in good standing - they'd retain the data for years and eventually delete it.

Is today the last day to be forced into MP?
